How to report a concern
Use the editorial contact form. Include the page URL, the exact sentence or section, what appears wrong or unclear, and a primary or authoritative source when available. Do not submit personal medical records.
How reports are assessed
The editorial team checks the cited passage, publication date, source hierarchy, regional scope and whether the issue could alter a reader’s decision. Reports about urgent signs, pregnancy, children, medicine safety, contraindications or dosing are prioritised.
Types of change
Minor correction
Spelling, broken links, formatting and wording that does not change meaning may be repaired without a prominent correction notice. The modified date can still change.
Material correction
A change to risk, urgency, diagnosis, treatment, evidence interpretation or an important omission receives a dated note explaining what changed. A material correction does not silently backdate the page.
Temporary withdrawal
If a page may cause harm and cannot be corrected promptly, it can be removed from public view while the evidence is reassessed.
Disagreement and transparency
Not every difference between guidelines is an error. Where reputable guidance differs, the page should describe the difference and its regional or population context instead of presenting one pathway as universal. Corrections are not sold, traded for links or conditioned on removing justified criticism.
